Decompression follows the 10 Guiding Principles of Burning Man, including the expectation that everyone participate in making the event happen. Consistent with this ethos, Decompression is run entirely by volunteers, and no one is paid for their contribution to the event. However, we have a limited number of comp tickets available. Comps will be given, to the extent they are available, based on individuals’ contributions to the event – both in planning/production as well as artistic contributions. If you would like to be considered to receive a comp ticket, please make a request to the appropriate person (ie: if you are a DJ, talk to the DJ lead; if you are doing performance, talk to the performance lead). Only the contributor him/herself may be comped, and large groups may receive a limited number of comps. No one is guaranteed a comp ticket until the comp requests have been evaluated the week prior to the event.
