Betty T. Kaos' artwork have been shown all over the world. Her work explores the mythologies of our culture, memetics, and thought systems. She is a visual storyteller whose major influences and investigations include anthropomorphic objects, religious mythology, metaphysics, sacred plants, and Asian culture. This painting is comprised of a colorful abstract portrait of a young man against a pink, green, and blue sky. The multiple planes of the face are inspired by Duchamp, the colors reminiscent of the fauvists. His eyelashes are the bright rays of the sun shining out of green and blue multi-color eyes.
